Learn about North Palm Beach, FL

Home to more than 12,300 residents, North Palm Beach is an incorporated village located in Florida’s Palm Beach County.

The city’s history began in 1954, when businessman and philanthropist John D. MacArthur purchased 2,600 acres of land in Palm Beach County, a property which is now composed of North Palm Beach and several other communities. Out of mangrove swamps and watery grasslands, MacArthur began developing the area which would later become North Palm Beach. The village’s development efforts were recognized in 1956, when it was named best planned community by the National Association of Home Builders.

In 2006, North Palm Beach relaunched its golf course, which was redesigned by former professional golf player and now golf course designer Jack Nicklaus.
